Strengthening Synergy Through Vessel Visit: A Step Towards a Stronger Ecosystem

Mitra Cakrawala International (MCI) consistently emphasizes the importance of collaboration and synergy within its business ecosystem. As part of this commitment, the mining site teams from CPB and BMBBD recently conducted a Vessel Visit to MV Indrawati and CM Laurencia.

The visit aimed to strengthen team relationships by deepening the understanding of business processes between companies and building closer synergy to achieve shared goals.

The activities began with a room tour of the vessels. Team members from CPB and BMBBD were invited to explore various operational areas on board, from the control room to other technical sections. Through this tour, they could witness firsthand how operations on the vessels are conducted and understand the critical roles each part plays in maintaining the smooth running of the overall business process.

Following the tour, the teams gathered for a shared meal. This moment was not just a time to rest but also an opportunity for team members to get to know each other better. In a more relaxed atmosphere, they could share experiences, engage in discussions, and build stronger bonds. The shared meal symbolized the importance of teamwork and the spirit of togetherness in achieving common objectives.

The visit concluded with a detailed session explaining the business processes. During this session, team members gained a clearer understanding of how each department on the vessels contributes to the overall operational process. This explanation aimed to provide a comprehensive view of how interdepartmental synergy supports smooth business operations.

This visit reflects MCI’s commitment to not only focusing on business success but also on strengthening team relationships and enhancing overall work quality. By continually promoting a culture of open communication, mutual respect, and close collaboration, MCI strives to build a business ecosystem that is not only strong and resilient but also harmonious and energetic.

Through initiatives like these, MCI demonstrates that its commitment to sustainability extends beyond environmental and resource aspects to include the people who are an integral part of their business ecosystem. With stronger synergy, MCI is confident in its ability to face future business challenges more effectively and continue making a positive contribution to all stakeholders involved.

Rising to the Challenge and Strengthening Bonds through Outing

In today’s fast-paced work environment, taking time for bonding and re-energizing the team is crucial.

This is exactly what the management of Mitra Cakrawala International (MCI) Mining, together with their business partner Cipta Kridatama, did during the Merbabu Outing from July 26th to 28th, 2024. This event was not just about climbing a mountain; it was a valuable opportunity to strengthen camaraderie and build mental and physical resilience.

With the theme “Rising to the Challenge,” this outing was attended by managers, C-level executives, and directors from both companies. They gathered with a single goal: to reach the summit of Mount Merbabu via the challenging Suwanting route. The climb became a symbol of their shared journey in the business world—demonstrating that with teamwork and strong determination, any challenge can be overcome.

Throughout the hike, the sense of togetherness grew stronger. One of the most memorable moments was when participants shared jackets and food to ward off the cold mountain air. The camaraderie was further highlighted when they waited for each other, ensuring that no one was left behind and that everyone reached the summit together. These moments truly reinforced the bond between them.

After the exhausting climb, the evening gathering was a much-anticipated event. Sitting together around the campfire, they shared stories, laughter, and experiences that deepened both personal and professional connections. It wasn’t just about reaching the peak, but also about building a stronger foundation for future teamwork.

Through events like the Merbabu Outing, MCI and Cipta Kridatama prove that the success of a team is not only measured by business achievements but also by the strength of their bonds and the spirit of mutual support. With renewed energy and stronger connections, they are ready to face the next challenge—whether it’s on the heights of Merbabu or in their career journey.
